SERIF ANNOUNCES NEW ‘PREFERRED RETAILER PROGRAM’
SERIF ANNOUNCES NEW ‘PREFERRED RETAILER PROGRAM’ FOR CRAFT STORES
Program Increases Profitability of Digital Scrapbooking Products for Craft Retailers
ANAHEIM, CA, Booth #2610– January 25, 2009 – Serif Inc., a leading developer of professional and consumer-oriented desktop publishing, design and graphics software, today introduced the Serif Preferred Retailer Program, which provides tools to help retailers reach a rapidly increasing market – digital scrapbookers. Members of the program will receive cash-back incentives, marketing materials and other resources. Retailers who want to learn more about the new program are invited to visit Serif executives at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Winter Convention and Tradeshow in Anaheim, Calif., at booth #2610.
The Serif Preferred Retailer Program is designed to help craft retailers make more money from selling digital products. Once a customer has purchased Digital Scrapbook Artist™, Serif’s easy-to-use, photorealistic digital scrapbooking program, from a preferred retailer, the store will receive reimbursements from any additional purchases the customer goes on to make at www.serif.com or www.daisytrail.com, an online social network for scrapbookers and crafters to share their designs with family and friends.
To be eligible for the program, store owners must place a minimum order for eight copies of Digital Scrapbook Artist. They will then receive, for free, a Preferred Retailer Starter Pack, which includes more detailed information about the program, a Preferred Retailer certificate, point-of-sale display units and two posters for in-store promotion.
All boxes of Digital Scrapbook Artist ordered by program members will include a $10 mail-in rebate on the box. Members will also be given access to free teaching guides and resources to offer classes on the product, and a link to their website will also be added to www.serif.com. Additional bonuses and prizes will be given to top-performing stores as part of the Serif Retailer Rewards program.
“The Serif Preferred Retailer Program gives stores a way to attract and retain customers in one of the fast-growing craft sectors in America – digital scrapbooking. And, they get the bonus of receiving money back from Serif as part of the program. We’re committed to working with the program’s members to provide them with the sales tools to connect with a rapidly increasing number of digital scrapbookers,” said Ashley Hewson, Serif’s Sales Director.
Serif, a first-time exhibitor at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Winter Convention and Tradeshow in Anaheim, Calif., will be offering one-on-one demonstrations of Digital Scrapbook Artist in booth #2610. Digital Scrapbook Artist ($39.99) is a one-of-a-kind photorealistic digital scrapbooking program that offers a unique combination of unlimited creativity and ease-of-use.
