MAKING MEMORIES HELPS SCRAPPERS’ HEARTS GO PITTER PATTER

Anaheim, CA (CHA Winter Show – Booth #1951) January 24, 2010 – It’s a sound that makes a new parent’s heart leap … and gets photos snapping.  The pitter-patter of tiny feet means that a little person is exploring, making new discoveries, and growing up already much too fast for mom and dad’s liking.  Making Memories new Pitter Patter collection is all about making time stand still – if only for a fleeting, precious moment.
This new collection of paper, embellishments and albums are designed to capture that sweet time when a toddler finds cardboard boxes irresistible. When what looks like plastic animals are in their reality a bustling jungle of wild life. When an all-blue or an all-pink wardrobe is not only acceptable, but downright adorable.
The new Pitter Patter line features albums adorned with laser-cut star and flower designs that anchor this country inspired collection, in pinks, blues and purples.  Papers play off the theme, with double-sided designs featuring innocent cats, cows, sheep and other farm life; precious pastel patterns; and words and phrases pulled directly from children’s favorite bedtime stories.  The embellishments take the cute factor to a new level with baby animal-topped safety pins as well as buttons, engraved charms, stickers, plus stitched felt and crocheted accents.
Beyond traditional scrapbooking supplies, Making Memories had added a new layer of memory capturing tools that include a stain-free stamp set to make permanent imprints of tiny hands and feet.  Two additional albums have been added to accommodate these impressions, with a trilogy of vertical die-cut windows to hold the hand and foot prints, pictures, or other multi-dimensional memorabilia.
The new Pitter Patter collection (MSRP: $1.99 to$24.99) will begin shipping to independent craft and national hobby stores nationwide in March 2010.  For more information visit www.makingmemories.com.
