HUNGRY FOR ANOTHER SLICE DESIGN CARD? HOW ABOUT TWELVE?
Making Memories Serves Up a Hearty Serving of New Shapes, Fonts for the Slice
Anaheim, CA (CHA Winter Show – Booth #1951) January 24, 2010 – Fans of the popular Making Memories Slice Handheld Cordless Digital Designer are about to be served up a bounty of new Design Cards for a range of interests and themes. This spring, the company will release a dozen new Design Cards, each outfitted with thousands of shapes and fonts in a range of sizes, bringing the company’s current total to 46.
All of Making Memories’ new Slice Design Cards are outfitted with the company’s MS+ technology, which allows crafters to create both mirroring and shadowing effects, in addition to traditional die-cuts, from each individual shape.
The company’s new assortment of Slice Design Cards include:
- Baby – The stork delivers again, but this time the bundle contains a wood-block worthy font, as well as shapes and silhouettes lifted straight from the baby shower, plus all of the “adorable,” “precious” and “darling” phrases you cannot help but utter when the bundle arrives!
- Bon Appetit – Julia Child would have had a hard time concentrating on cooking, with all of these delicious designs waiting to be used. This Design Card offers food and utensil shapes, recipe cards, as well as a full menu of words and phrases for the gourmand.
- Funkadelic – This Design Card totally has its groove on, with fonts that would have been at home in Studio 54, or on a Jim Morrison poster. Lava lamp not included.
- Happy Trails – It’s time to say Yeeow! Ayipioeeay! The old west comes to life in this new Design Card, with Saloon-like fonts, shapes and phrases to bring out the cowboy (or cowgirl) in anyone.
- Hodge Podge Fonts – Someone had fun late at night creating this irresistibly irregular Design Card, featuring original fonts that blend ransom note attitude with a just-drank-too-much-caffeine jitteriness.
- Nursery Rhymes – Mother Goose would be proud to of these elegant fonts and whimsical fairytale silhouettes that include magical mirrors, cane-wielding mice, and of course, a glass slipper.
- Paws & Claws –This pet-centric card unleashes a handcrafted typewriter font, and mixes in pet silhouettes, collar tags, paw prints, plus many purrr-fect words and phrases.
